My premise is that without similar moral values, society will implode, as will a cell in any living organism. Cancer is cellular growth non-stabilized and out of control. The liberal values of a large segment of our society today are cancerous. What is happening in our society today, can be duplicated in the laboratory at a cellular level.
In school, I was taught that disease (lack of ease) is multi-causational, but if you could bring disease to an equation, that equation would be:
DISEASE= number of Pathogens x virulence of the pathogen
Resistance of the host organism
Morality or lack of it follows the same equation.
IMMORAL = morals x strength of conviction
Resistance to perceived wrong (moral integrity)
The CELL-ORGAN-SYSTEM-ORGANISM is analogous to the INDIVIDUAL-SOCIETY- WORLD. Specifically, the cell is the individual, the organ is society and the organism is the equivalent of our world.
Two cells with the same values is the equivalent of a human organ. Eg liver, heart etc
Organs that have similar values are what the body calls a system e.g.. Digestive system
Operational Terms:
Value: relative worth or importance. Often, the abstract concept of what is right, worthwhile, or desirable; principles or standards. Any object or quality desirable as a means or as an end in itself.
Cell: microscopic structure containing nuclear and cytoplasm material enclosed by a semi-permeable membrane and, in plants, a cell wall; the basic structural unit of all organisms.
a small group acting as a unit within a larger organization: a local cell of a political party.
Organ: a grouping of tissues into a distinct structure, as a heart or kidney in animals or a leaf or stamen in plants, which performs a specialized task. Two or more cells with the same values
System: an assemblage of organs or related tissues concerned with the same function or values: the digestive system.
Individual Person: a single human being, as distinguished from a group.
Homeostasis: the tendency of a system, esp. the physiological system of higher animals, to maintain internal stability, owing to the coordinated response of its parts to any situation or stimulus tending to disturb its normal condition or function, a state of psychological equilibrium obtained when tension or a drive has been reduced or eliminated.
Function: the kind of action or activity proper to a person, thing, or institution; the purpose for which something is designed or exists; role.
Society: an organized group of persons associated together for religious, benevolent, cultural, scientific, political, patriotic, or other purposes.
Tissue: an aggregate of similar cells and cell products forming one of the structural materials of an organism.
Organism: any individual life form considered as an entity; an animal, plant, fungus, protistan, or moneran. Any complex, organized body or system analogous to a living
being, esp. one composed of mutually interdependent parts functioning together.
